We are delighted to share the news that Quantopticon has been accepted on Cohort #1 of the prestigious Duality quantum accelerator.
One of only six ventures from all around the world to make it into the shortlist, Quantopticon is the only non-US start-up amongst the victorious, and proudly flies the flag for Britain.
As a participant in the accelerator programme, Quantopticon receives $50,000 of non-dilutive funding, world-class mentoring, and access to the top academic minds in University of Chicago, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Argonne National Laboratory and Fermi Lab. In addition, Quantopticon is granted 1-year complimentary memberships for the country’s most important quantum establishments: the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) and the Chicago Quantum Exchange (CQE). Quantopticon also taps into to talent of the famed University of Chicago Booth School of Business, gaining the privilege to have top MBA students conduct market research on behalf of Quantopticon and fine-tune its business model.
Based in Chicago, the United States’ premier Quantum Hub, Duality is the first-of-its-kind US start-up accelerator focusing exclusively on quantum technologies. As such, it is perfectly embedded in the rich quantum ecosystem in and around the city.
During the programme, Quantopticon’s CEO Mirella Koleva will be relocating to Chicago to capitalise fully on this outstanding opportunity.
We extend our congratulations to our fellow Duality ventures: Super.Tech, Great Lakes Crystal Technologies, qBraid, Axion Tech, and QuantCAD. Well done, we are so pleased to be working alongside you and make friends with such capable and extraordinary individuals!
